How does the Lead Bird referral programme work?
You share your partner link. When a business signs up through it and pays for its first Lead Bird plan, you earn 10% of that payment.
Share it however you like: WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, X, email, or a chat with a friend who runs a business.
How much can I earn?
You earn 10% of the first payment. That is $2.90, $5.90 or $9.90 on the Starter, Vendor and Shop monthly plans, and $29, $59 or $99 on the yearly plans.
There is no limit to how many businesses you can refer.
What counts as a successful referral?
The business opens your link, creates a Lead Bird account within 30 days, and pays for its first plan.
Only the first plan payment counts. Renewals and token top-ups do not earn a commission.
How can I track my referrals?
Sign in to your partner dashboard with the email you used to join. You will see how many people opened your link, who signed up, who paid, and what you have earned.
What stops a referral from earning?
You will not earn if the business never pays for a plan, or if it is refunded. Referring your own account does not count.
How do I claim my reward?
Each reward is held for 7 days after the business pays. Once your balance reaches $10, tap Claim reward in your partner dashboard.
We check the request, then send the money to your Nigerian bank account in naira at the day's rate.
